The World Kickboxing Federation WKF and the Russian Kickboxing Federation held a meeting at the Olympic Committee of the Russian Federation in Moscow and signed an agreement on joint cooperation.
Since 28.03.2025 the official representative of the WKF on the territory of the Russian Federation is the Russian Kickboxing Federation- FKR represented by its leader Batu Sergeevich Khasikov.
The Russian national kickboxing team is allowed to participate in all international WKF tournaments with the national flag and national anthem of the Russian Federation.
The representative of the FKR – Danil Karpenko – is the new vice-president of the WKF World Amateur Division.
Soon a representative of the FKR will also be appointed to the position of the representative of the Russian Federation in the IRC – International Rules Committee.
The previous representative of the WKF in the territory of the Russian Federation Gerasimov M.V. is removed from the previously held position and is relieved of all rights and obligations.
WKF CEO and World President Fritz EXENBERGER emphasized that without the Russian team no international federation can consider itself leading, because athletes from Russia are few of the strongest in the world.
